After trying to get my entire company to donate blood, there are some very unwilling people around! I came across a website for the Anthony Nolan trust.
More interestingly, there was a link about donating your babies umbilical cord, which would normally be classed as clinical waste.
I never ceases to amaze me the advances that are being made every single day.
So, if you know anyone about to give birth, please suggest signing up for Umbilical Donation and possibly saving a life. I feel an Awareness Day with cookies on the horizon!
